Inspirations

These are some things that help inspire me in my work.

I love old 1950s science fiction films more than almost anything in the world, particularly their cardboard & silver paint aesthetic.

 

Japanese movie monsters have also been a great source of inspiration. Godzilla obviously, but my heart will always belong to the amazingly ludicrous, heartwarming, friend to small-pants-wearing-children, Gamera.

 

You always need some music to listen to when you’re working. I recommend Tom Waits:
